James D. Walters, CCIM -  is responsible for creating relationships and originating wholesale loans for the firm throughout Southern California and the Western United States. Starting as a Development/ Syndication due diligence analyst for Transwestern Properties in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Walters moved to Washington State and became one of the principals and designated broker for Investment Property Management in Mountlake Terrace, WA. Under Walters’ management, IPM advanced from ‘start-up’ to a second place market position, in less than 2 years. Walters established Investors Commercial Realty/Investors Capital in 1994 in Bellingham, WA as a consulting based – Investor’s advisory company, specializing in investment opportunities for the British Columbia and N.W. Washington State real estate investment communities. 

Walters' lending experience includes establishing a Seattle based loan origination office for Hanover Capital, a New York based conduit lender and as Director of Loan Production in San Diego County for another Southern California based Commercial/Investment property lender.

Walters has been a member of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute since 1984. In 1994 he earned the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member). He holds Broker's licenses in Washington State, Colorado and California.
